Default 295/30 R18's on 10" wide wheels?

Does anyone have this set-up? I think I have a line on a pair of these for a good price and I was wondering how they will fit my rims? Tire Rack says the fit 10 - 11" with 10.5 being optimal.

Thanks!

I just put that on the 90 S4. Just fits. I have Millie Migilia 10Jx18 ET45 on the back. I am running 295/30ZR18 Hankook Ventus V12 evo's and they just fit inside the wheel well and have no fitment issues with the 10" wheel width. Not sure about issues on an S car though. Optimmum wheel width is 10.5" and outside diameter is 25.0" which is perfect for our car's speedos.

it should fit no problem with the wheels you have....10" x 65mm will be no problem out back...you "might" have to remove the 21mm S spacer...but I'm not sure

Hi

You are correct , he WILL have to remove the spacers...I did...and mine are only 275/30 x 18 on 10`s

If you have the standard 21 mm spacers from original you will then have LONG STUDS, which the original nuts will NOT fit...

On mine I fitted the steel race nuts first to hold on the wheels then the originals just nipped up to look normal, it works fine....

All the best Brett

I also had to remove the spacers when I went with that combo, and I now have enough room to fit 305's back there.

I have 295/30 X 18 PS2 tires on three different 10" wide wheels. One is Sport Design - et 65, on the GTS. Fits perfect, fills out the fender, with about 1/8" inch between edge of rolled fender and the tire (keeping the OE GTS spacer in place). One is 993 Turbo hollow spoke rear with et 40, mounted on the '89 S4. This also fills the space, and without rolling the fender, there is a very small bit of contact with the edge of the fender and the tire. Rolling in the middle took care of that. The third is 996 turbo aftermarket solid spoke et 65 on the S4. This one gives essentially an inch of clearance between the tire and the fender without rolling (but, of course now they are rolled!!).

Thanks for the replies. Right now I have 10" ET 65 with 275/35 R18's. With the stock 21 mm spacer I have about 3/4" space between the fender and the tire, I might be able to squeak these in without removing them (should still have 1/4"). I do have a set of open wheel nuts just in case I do have to take them off.
