Default A visit with Kevin Michael

Last week the family and I took a ride to Gettysburg to pick up my chrome disk wheels I bought off of Kevin Lacy. Kevin L left them at Kevin M's shop for me since he was having his GT worked on there. Kevin L's GT looks great BTW. You all know Kevin M does awesome work. Sorry no pics.

I could have stayed all day talking to Kev and Rick about P-cars but the family was tired and hungry so I had to cut the visit short. Thanks Kev for holding the wheels for me and not selling them on E-bay. LOL.

I did takes some pics of Kevin's clone 959 though. He's too modest to show these himself. What a beautiful car!!....and it still needed buffed out?!!!?

Nice ***

Just to keep this thread 928 related, here's pics of my 928 with the chrome disks. Thanks Kevin L.

Nicer ***!!

Thanks fellas. Rick your car looks great with those wheels man, I knew it would. Paul and Linda Champagne were over yesterday and we were discussing a custom interior for that 959 replica, so that might happen hopefully. Thanks, for posting the pics you took Rick. I was hoping people would think it was cool on here. If we put it on the 911 forum they would have jumped me for "ruining an org. Porsche 911". It's not the first one I have "ruined" BTW! Bill I can't wait to get together with you and see your track beast coming together.

The chrome flats look good. Be warned - if you use standard clip-on external wheel weights for tire balancing, you will hear them hit the fenders the first time that you go fast...

That mustang is so GOOOOOOOONE this week. I am so sick of looking at that thing. That was one of Rick's personal friend's cars and he felt bad for her so he did some work on it. I refused to touch it being the snobby ***** that I am! Now the Martini 935 will have it's first meeting with the cut-off wheel this june. That is going to be a wild one. It will make the 959 clone look mundane to say the least. I'm thginking of driving the 959c to Hershey this year instead of the 928, so I can see if it will sell there. The shakedown runs produced speeds to 140 before I wussed and let off. Very solid ride.

Perfect... so your 928 will be sitting idle while you have the 959 that weekend, looks like I'll have a car to drive to Hershey.

But Kevin - He'll have a nice set of 17" Fikse Mach V's with Michelin Pilot Sports on them to put on your car when he drives it to Hershey. Thus, he'll only be wearing out your suspension and engine, NOT the tires!! See ya' on the 24th.

Gary Knox

PS: The clone looks EVEN BETTER than it did in December. Lookin' great, and hope you'll bring it to Hershey.

We really need someone like Kevin in this area, finding someone who knows what they are doing and is trust worthy is not so easy.

Has it really been Dec. since you were here? Time flies for sure. Bill got one hell of a deal on those Fikses. I remember seeing them on your track beast when I was at the house a couple years back. I'm looking forward to seeing you and everyone else at Hershey.
