At the porsche club breakfast this morning was a '94 GTS 5 speed, guards red, beautiful condition. No one there had seen it before, the owner said he'd never attended a Porsche event before. He is the original owner and took delivery in Stuttgart and then proceeded to drive it all over Europe on a vacation, then brought it home. It currently has about 65k miles on it, and he hardly drives it anymore. Probably due to his health, I'm guessing he's in his '80s and walks with a cane. He's from Simi Valley, FWIW.

Keep your eyes peeled, "special" cars are out there.

Good news, 80 this is a great number to share with my son who's waiting and wanting....he has been warned about getting those keys before; with the cane I can wack him should he try any roundhouse approach

Another potential treat at this morning's PCA breakfast. Sat across the table from an older gentleman named George. "what color is yours?" he says, seeing my name badge with car info on it. "Silver". "Nice. Mine's brown metallic, a '79 too; I don't drive it much, I've only got 16k miles on it.".

I gave him my contact info. Sounds like he needs someone to take it out to stretch it's legs from time to time
