WUR
Question, which 928 5.0 liter models have a WUR?
Also, how difficult is it to find a new unit when needed? I ask, because i have never found a rebuilt unit that worked for a 911.
I have been considering an earlier year 928, but has some concern about the WUR.
Thanks jpc

i don't think any 5.0 cars have a wur they were only used on euro CIS cars untill 1983 after that all fuel injecton becomes electronic 928 int will rebuild any wur you send them
I'd assume he's wrong, unless he bored or stroked a 16V to 5.0L, or retrofitted CIS on a later engine.
Warm up enrichment on the LH engines is through extra fuel through the regular injectors. The temp sensors and the CPS are used to regulate idle and mixture, with the LH box doing most of the work. Problems are usually due to vacuum leaks or a bad or sticky idle stabilizer (bolts to the side of the throttle body).

I think he might be mistaken and is thinking about an auxilary air valve (AAV) I think all the 928s have one in some form thats prolly what he ment and again I think they are all rebildable from our vendors here at a resonable cost

Engine size is wrong as-well. He says he is a collector, but does not know what his engine size is.....
