Default Project: Resurrection GT

Thanks to Brome Auto Body, Jim Ambler, Tom Ringheiser, and the rest of those who helped resurrect this nightmarish ride...And the web community for helping to inspire me. Thanks to Joe Thrift for the smokin deal, and John Kim Crumb- FOR HOOKIN IT UP! I.O.U.

Summer 2010 Here we come.

The car was pulled, chopped, measured, and very carefully assembled to have proper geometry.... We'll be driving it next week.

The motor runs like a beast, and is now getting a fresh waterpump- the old one locked up from sitting around I guess... Shame too it was fresh service..... VERY COOL RIDE! This 1990 Shows 88k miles on the clock, and everything works (so far). It has the original drive train. Time for the airbags, install front bumper and hood, headlights and fans.... That's about it. I haven't posted here in a while, thought this one was worthy!

Are those OZ wheels? There's a set of 928 specific OZs just like those on ebay right now, with tires..

Mason great job on brining it back. Those are very sharp wheels IMHO. With the measurements you provided it looks like the front wheels will stick out 5mm from fender while the rears will need a 5mm spacer and the fenders to be rolled 2mm for proper fitment. Does that sound about right.

Not sure if this was deliberate comedy, but the ebay link to the wheels was one of Mason's listings for his company

Interesting that in the questions section twice you didn't say if it was all 4 wheels.
