Hold On

Went to open rear hatch on my 83 and think I have broken the lock. Felt initial resistance as usual, then went very easy. Nothing after that. Key turns easy but no unlocky.... How do I open hatch so I can remove lock assy. to replace? Thanks, Kevin

If you can't get it open with a key, then you have to go at it from inside the car. I haven't had to do this, but here are some suggestions:
