Did you see the option sticker of this car, or where do these codes come from?

Some of the I codes look like Exclusive codes to me (the ones starting with X)

Tho codes are from PET.

The car is light sliver purple metallic with grey and light purple piped leather with light purple carpets. It has rear a/c and 3 piece rims. Maybe the codes relate to these items?

I = M. For some reason PET lists some codes with I but they are all M codes.

As far as I can tell from the split, the I is Interior, and M is body/mechanical for option codes.

If you want to look them up, just drop the I or M and use the 3-digit code as-is.

Interesting set of codes - not all known by the online decoder I use:

058 Bumpers with impact absorbers
130 Labelling in English
215 Version for Saudi Arabia
249 Automatic transmission
323 Sticker, without ESE-Regulations
323 without ESE-regulations (not a clue what this means)
327 Radio - 1992 model year Blaupunkt "Symphony RDS"
403 Pressure cast 17" wheels
411 Licence braket, front
423 Cassette container and coin box
437 Comfort seat left
438 Comfort seat right
537 Left seat with positrol and lumbar
562 Airbag driver's side
562 Airbag driver's and PASSENGER'S side
567 Windshield green graduated tint
570 High output air conditioner
573 Air conditioner
595 Rear spoiler painted to match body
650 Sunroof
912 Vehicle without identification plate
X28 Light Rootwood Steering Wheel (standard with Y59)
XN7 Leather Parking Brake Lever (standard with Package Y17)

323 or 912 at least is probably related to what kind of steel plate with weight etc info is installed into body. In 928 this is between front bumper and hood release mechanism. Plate is not installed to most if any cars sold new in Japan and they have 912 option code. This makes them somewhat difficult to import into certain EU countries which require plate to be mounted and show correct data. Saudi cars shouldn't have it either.

Thanks Guys,

I have a couple of friends who are looking at this car and another which we think is a 1991 GT in black (no vin number yet).

so there will be three 928's in my office car park, we will be able to start our own 928 club in Dubai at this rate! see what I have started.

Most of the Gulf 928s were special order as the dealers rarely stocked any exotics and people love to customize their cars. Totally expect the 928s you find here and/or other exotics to have interesting options.
