Default GT LH/EZK for sale

Edit: Asking prices have been lowered. I thought these were worth more than they actually are.

I have an LH and EZK from a 1990 GT with 81,000 miles for sale. Feel free to PM me or post up with questions. I'll entertain offers on a package deal.

Price for GT computers:
$400 for LH
$200 for EZK

I also have an LH/EZK from a 1987 S4 with 120,000, ran well when removed

$275 for LH
$125 for EZK

I know everyone will ask,
Are either one of them rebuilt, and if yes, by who?

Thanks for reminding me, Colin. Neither of them have been rebuilt--they were pulled straight from running cars.

Why would someone need a spare LH at that price? A JDS rebuilt is only $495 with shipping from OTT's Performance.

The JDS rebuild is the same price from Louie, Myself, Roger, or John himself.

Not when you consider taxes, shipping, and exchange fees.

"The JDS rebuild is the same price from Louie, Myself, Roger, or John himself."

Actual rebuilding is done in the U.K., right?

Process:

1. send in unit
2. gets shipped to U.K. (not all units stock U.S.)
3. wait ~ 3-4 wks

Borland,
The base price is set. The taxes, and shipping will depend on what part of the world you buy from.

If you buy from Roger or Louie you will not have to pay taxes, or exchange (currency) fees afaik.

And Loren, Most of us have rebuilt LH, and MAFs in stock and ready to go.
So it is a matter of just getting the rebuilt unit to you which could be done overnight if really needed.

I was under the impression that these were worth a bit more; I did not know the cost for a rebuild. If someone is interested, I will entertain offers. If not, I'll hang on to them until someone needs them.

Your price for the EZK is about right, although these rarely go wrong so the price may need to be lowered because of lack of demand.

The LH is a different matter, due to the known failure of these units. If someone bought it from you for $300 then even if it subsequently had to be rebuilt they would come out paying less than a rebuilt from
(say) 928 Intl.

Thanks for the pricing benchmark, John and others. I appreciate the constructive pricing criticism.

"Most of us have rebuilt LH, and MAFs in stock and ready to go."

So a unit can be shipped immediately before the core is sent in, right?

Some of us had their rebuilt LH personally delivered.

Bolt into the frame, hook up the harness and vroom..............no shipping involved period other than Colins epic journey.

Usually, yes, with a suitable core charge.

Malcolm, I received your old LH core from Colin today, by the time it arrived here it had died completely, injectors clicking as soon as igntion switched on.

So it was near to death when it started playing up last time you used it.
