You putting that into a boat? Looks really cool!

Actually that intake would work really well on the 928 if you put a smaller scoop on the hood and as long as there's enough room to fit an air filter.

Wow!
Nice motor. It is always fun to see a super clean engine.
Nice job.
Is it going into your boat?

Not really a new "intake" - stock plenum / runners are there.

That would be a fun setup to drop into a Formula 5000 chassis!!!!

DANG DAVE!! That is VERY nice! Great to see the project coming along.

BTW, think about not using the OEM paper filter, this is one application where a oilled type filter might be considered.

Nice work on the intake.

You can jerk a bevy of skiers out of the water, and instantly dry them with the exhaust.

That thing looks like it belongs on one of those old-school gearhead t-shirts, with an 8-ball shifter and a bug-eyed, tongue-flapping crazy riding on top of it! Way cool!

That settles it, I need to build one of these and do a similar setup with a 928 engine:

It would do something if on a 300mph dragster, but with a total potential of only .36psi at 160mph, and thats at a total efficiency of a very rare, 75% as this kind of scoop would have, that would only add 1-2hp if that in our cars, WHERE the ram pressure is near this just at the base of the windshield. This ALL would be counteracted in our cars due to the drag this kind of frontal area would add to the chassis. when you have a 10,000hp drag monster, with ITBs and Nitro methane, and going 300mph, sure, this is CERTAINLY worthit, but at 100 to 150mph, for a brief few seconds , it wouldnt really do anything but make your 928 LOOK and not be, a funny car.
