OK, so I've taken it out for it's first trip

Problems that occured:
- It won't pull after about 3800-4000 RPM. As it's some kind of "rev limiter" there. Perhaps old plugs, or insufficent fuel to the engine?
- At steady throttle/cruise speed, it don't run smooth. As soon as I let go, or push the throttle further in, the engine runs smooth(enough). It doesn't kill the engine, though.(idle at about8-900 when warm)

Or is this all issues derivated from possible vaccuume leaks? going to buy a kit tomorrow, to start swapping the old waccuume hoses

Check the ignition wires in the dark for sparks to ground. Also measure resistance on the coils (specs are in the Workshop Manual).

If you haven't done it yet, a tune-up is probably in order - new plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor.

vacuum leaks and fuel distributors/fuel injectors are probably gummed up. Fix the vacuum leaks and use some fuel system/injector cleaner and drive the car. It seems likely that the varnish in the fuel system will likely dissolve and the car will run better and better as you drive it more and more.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the advice, I'll go out and buy some injection clean today.

Had the appointment today to get the plates, and this is what I have to fix before I get the plates:

- Rusty rear brake rotor
- New boot kit(is that what its' called in english?) on the left side of the steering rack
- New rear muffler
- Either a confirmation from Porsche that its' allowed to have 215 front tires, and 225 rear tires, or I have to change the front tires to 225.

Not bad for a car that's been sitting ten years? Going to order about all the parts this evning, so I have something to fiddle with until the next appointment. I also fixed a charging problem today, the alternator belt was loose, so I only had to tension it up and hey! I got charge Posting more pics in a couple of hours!

EDIT: Distributor is new.

Some nice pics:

And some not so nice pics:

Was cleaning out the front wheel wells, then suddenly i noticed this humongus crack(3-5mm) going zig-zag across the bottom of the body, over the lower A-arm mount. First I thought it was crashed in the front, but now it seems to me as it either has jumpes and landed hard on the front suspension, or done something completely akward. It's almost the same on the other side, except the metal hasn't fully splitted, it's only the paint that has cracked. I guess this explains why it keeps pulling to the right, when I drive. Or is this a common failiure on 928's?

Good news:
I have fixed some of the vacuume leaks, and filled it up with injection clean. I'm going to change the rear diff oil tomorrow, and soon have it for another ride!

Thought so No, but seriously, I can see that it at some point of it's life has been involved in a crash, it's just that there are so many things that SHOULD have been bent/destroyd, that is fine. For example is both rear wheel arches dented at the rear, which to me seems that it's been hit in the rear(?). Though there isn't a single dent or scratched paint in the spare-wheel compartment, and the rear absorber is 100%.

Darn, I would like to know the history to this car.
