Gates Racing Timing Belts from 928sRus
Happy Birthday to me (read Gates Racing Timing Belt) - Happy Birthday to me
After one year and a lot of agony on both mybehalf and Gates the belts are finally here on US soil. They arrived yesterday at the Gates Facility in AR after being shipped air all the way from Scotland.
I have become so well known at Gates that I think I will be invited to their coming Company Christmas Party. I have an employee number all ready.

Its been a while since the details/specs on this belt have been updated - was the 928 version ever extensively tested? I vaugely recall that these belts were supposed to be tested at speed on a machine for several weeks, which was thought to be one of the production delays. Can you confirm the current "as produced" specification, and what if any tests were performed on our version of the belts? As I am days away from tearing into my front cover, I am interested yet concerned about "unproven" technology at such a critical component. Any info Gates sent you would be gladly appreciated.
