It's still available.
Edit: It was his dads car, he inherited 2 cars.
One is an SL500 (98 if I remember right) and this 928
Belts were apparently done 5 years ago

Can't get this car out of my mind. Someone buy it and put me out of my misery!
Owner says his dad purchased new from Vasek Polak and it was CA car until move to AZ.
Seems to me the car is special, regardless of the mileage. I have never see such a basic 928. No sunroof, 5 speed, vinyl/pasha upholstery. I wonder if it has any options at all. Thinking the 16" phone dials might even be standard on a 5 speed.

Yep. This is the simplist one I've owned. No power seats, no rear air, very few things to break, nice and light, and with exhaust mods, cat/air pump delete, etc, that "little" 4.5 takes off quite nicely. It's so much easier to work on too.

Randy,
I agree with you...it is almost as tall as a rally car shifter from a few years back...of course those were sequential and positioned like that to keep them close to the steering wheel and they barely moved... early 928 shifters are like rowing a boat! Another good reason to go with the far superior Rogerbox! LOL!
