i used the washers on my car. The orig mounts lasted less than 15 years on my car. They were completely flat when removed. New mounts work flawlessly so far.

Any idea what was actually wrong with the mounts? Do you have a way to cut them open?

They where the "new" prototype of the "airmount"...

I guess they where supposed to be filled with some sort of liquid.
