Thanks guys. The interior is worth 500 easy. The seats are all about perfect. Dirty, no cracks, no stretched seams.

Look at the dipstick. Use MrMerlin's procedure, black cloth, good light, and examine closely for shiny metal particles. I really don't like the "lugging" comment, and since it an AT you really need to rule out TBF. That said, for 1K? Wow, could be a really great deal!

Yeah, we poured about another half pint in and it went. Remember, all the lines, tank, and filter were dry.

Haven't decided yet. I'm thinking I could make money parting it out

Any of them are worth more in parts.

Just sounded like a cool save potential to me. Good luck!

You probably can but since the engine did run long enough, many of the parts can not be tested. This goes for the transmission too. It takes a loooong time to part out a 928. But sine you only have 1K in it, you will be in the back in no time. Do you have a garage to keep the car untill it's totally taken apart? I had to keep mine inside or else the neighbours would have killed me.
