Car of the Month (article included)
Just had an interesting thing that happened this week, that I thought I would share. After a few months of waiting, due to being on the school newspaper staff, my 928 finally received Car of the Month at my high school Not to blow my own horn, but there wasn't much competition. Once this months paper comes out, I'll post the story.
Update: I just recieved the paper today. Unfortuantly, some of the information was cut and it's obvious that the staff is not car knowlegable due to some errors, but overall it's a pretty good article.

Cool!
Nice car. Hope to meet you guys some day. Maybe you can show some of us the track.
Christian, do you know anything about that Lynchburg yellow car?

Congrats Christian. You and your car more than deserve it, I know how much work you have put into it. I pulled it off my senior year with a '65 Dodge van. The hippie truck. Good to hear school papers still do that sort of thing.

Great job Christian. Keep up the work and try to become the first to wind Car of the Month twice.

When I was in high school, I had a Suzuki GS550L. The word on the street was I was selling drugs. How else could I afford a motorcycle? Seriously folks.... small town.
If I had a 928 back then, they would have thought I was a crack selling pimp!
Way to go, Christian! Say no to drugs and hos.

Thanks everyone
Haha, I own the red '82 the other 3 are my father's, although he does let me drive them on occasions.

I think an '80-82 5spd 928 is a GREAT starter car frankly! Non- competition package (so you don't have to worry about ripping off the front spoiler) probably best. VERY SAFE, VERY COMPETENT, SUPER COOL LOOKING! My only concern would be vandalism in the school parking lot because these cars STILL look like a million bucks! Few realize their crappy Honda Civic cost more than this gorgeous BEAST!

That's awesome. Man I would have loved to have had a 928 in H.S but that wasn't happening. I was working for 4 bucks an hr digging holes and a 928 was like 40k! 30 yrs later I got one.
