Default Porsche Special Silicone Remover?

Anyone know where to get this fluid for the intensive windshield cleaning system? Or a suitable substitute?

This is for the secondary windshield cleaning system installed on, at least, 1985 to 1988 928's. I list those dates because my '85 S had it and my '88 S4 also does, but my '93 GTS didn't.

Hi, I have used supermarket glass cleaner in mine for several years now with no apparent ill effects. I use the intense washer then rinse off with the normal washer. Great for getting rid of splattered bugs. YMMV.

I mix up some non-ammoniated window cleaner concentrate ate about 2x the recommended dosage in distilled water. I know it works, but realistically I never use it. By the time the windshield needs that level of cleaning, so does the rest of the car.

I do need a squirrel-wiper for the grill.

Dr. Bob,
You must have some VERY domesticated squirrels that will stay still long enough for THAT!

I ordered it from 928 Specialists a few years ago. It's a Porsche concoction and still appears to be available (current PET shows it with a price). PN 00 044 000 93 (supercedes 928 628 931 00). Any Porsche dealer or Porsche parts vendor should be able to get it.

Anything worth doing, is worth over-doing.

Edit: Ooops, doubled...

I have it, but I'm not overwhelmed by its cleaning power. A good washer fluid in the regular system is not that much weaker in my experience.

Still, it's part of the car, therefore I have it in there. For now.

It was available about one or two months ago as I supplied some for a customer in Germany.
Current price is $11.08 from 928sRus.

It's the indecisive ones that seem to love the grilling process. Lesson for squirrel hunters-- Don't swerve and risk losing control when a squirrel is in the road. The cleanup is a lot easier.

That's ironic.

You would be very suprised at how much we ship to Germany - even to Stuttgart.
We have our own German web site handled by my good friend Schocki.

Vot is this special silicone remover fluid?

Special detergent for removing grease like dishsoap but won't take off carwax?
Or is it something to keep away from computers and certain enhanced human anatomy.

I have not used that intense washer nor the headlight washer since the Jurrasaic so the pump motors may not even go whirrrr whirrrrr anymore.
