Too late to help menzzer, but for everyone with only one key to their 928, take some decent photos of your only key, up close, using macro mode on the camera.

That way, at least if you lose your key, you can order a new one from keys4classics.com (they can read the key code from the photo, then cut to code - search this forum for feedback).

No affiliation other than being a satisfied customer of theirs (got an original Huf key to fit a lighted key head on my '89.. will probably get an original Porsche short-key for the '87 from them now that it all works off one lock).

I've only had the car a month. I replaced the whole interior and when I threw out the old seats, I think it was in the creases!

Haha, I guess back when the car was new, these things were so expensive that someone set up a time-share.
