No affiliation; this from the email list.
I've owned a 1993 GTS for over 10 years now and still love it, but lately just haven't been able to give it the time it deserves. The wife and I are starting a family (little girl is almost 2, with another on the way) and along with all my weekend chores this doesn't leave many chances to drive the Porsche -- so it sits in the garage with a trickle charger. We actually have 4 cars, so at times it's also just plain in the way.
I'm considering selling the car to someone who will appreciate it. It's a 5spd, Polar Silver w/ light gray interior, around 92k miles. I did drive it the last couple of weekends and it's still running perfect! I'm an engineer and have been **** about keeping all maintenance records and receipts. The car is completely stock, except for a RMB (original muffler is included). Everything works.
I'm getting the word out to the 928 community before heading toward the AutoTrader/Yahoo Autos/Recycler route. It's hard to judge an asking price, both because of the rarity and also because of today's economy. I can only find a few GTS's available nationwide, and they're all automatics, so this one is somewhat unique.
The car is located in the So Cal area (OC). Please email me off-list if interested.

I'm definitely going to miss this car!

Actually based upon everything I've been seeing on Autotrader and Ebay there are fewer and fewer really nice 928's out there. 5 spds are even more difficult to find.

Afshin, I think you are correct about the numbers of 928's but what it looks like we are seeing right now are the really low miles cars and the total beaters! We are missing that middle of the market where the VAST majority of new buyers want to be...
The beaters go to current owners who are going to part it out or bring it back to life and the super low mile cars go to the collector types who always wanted a 928 and this will probably be their 5th, 6th or 15th car and they just want a REALLY NICE ONE!
