Default Amsterdam

Well it looks like my next stop will be Amsterdam.

March 6-10/11th.

Are there any members close to this area that would be interested in a GTG?

Hi Colin,
I live in the region of Rotterdam, which is not far from Amsterdam. Welcome to our small but sweet country. I did a 4-week grand USA tour in summer last year. Also visited the Bonneville speedweek.

Promise me you bring the lady in your avatar...

Ad,

FOUR WEEKS?! Hell, I've lived here 45 YEARS and have barely scratched the surface! I spent 3 weeks in Bavaria and the areas near by (Austria, Switzerland and Slovenia) and barely felt like I even scratched the surface of that small corner of the world!

Love to see N. Germany, Netherlands and Belgium one of these days!

yeah, isn't that always the case? I see a lot of tourist that want to "do" Europe in a couple of weeks. When you think you make that one big trip in your life, you want to see a lot, don't you? Indeed you scratch the surface and see the highlights.

Ad,

I have done a ton of travelling myself. But always for work and never able to see much of the countries I have been to.
When I am older, have more money, and time, I will do more travelling where I can enjoy the locations instead of feeling like a chicken with its head cut off.

What day might you be availible for a GTG?

BTW, I have a 1984 euro 5 speed that still shifts fairly nicely for sale. If you know anyone in the area who might want it. $600USD.

Colin,
owning 928 isn´t good for saving money! ;-) But you have fun yet.

Sell the 84 S 5 speed to Ken! He can make us euro owners happy with performance chips!
;-)
600 or 6000 $ ?For 600$ I pick it up in Amsterdam ! ;-)

Darklands,

It is the 5 speed transaxle that is for sale, and yes the price is $600 USD.
