This is getting way overly complicated......
Does anyone have a flair tool?
Cut the rail at the below locations (this is assuming the new dampner will be installed on the passenger side). Flair the ends, connect with rubber fuel line and clamps.

Do what I did.
Find an AN to Metric adaptor to connect to the steel line going to the tank, attach whatever size AN fitting fits the adaptor to a new piece of fuel hose.
Attach the other end of the hose to the FPR with whatever means necessary (this will depend on the regulator you buy).-

You make a couple of comments pointing to you NOT understanding what I have said. Do you understand? I think if you really did, you wouldnt suggest something as complicated and risky as hacking up your fuel lines to do something as obvious as I have pointed out. no need for a new part, just a simple solution, with no draw backs, unlesss you do understand and can provide one. I certainly dont see any, do you ??
Im not changing anyones mind. Im giving a team mate a way to do something that WONT cause us a fire or issues at the track. If he listens, and DOES do what I have suggested, it will work and we will not have any issues with the solution.
How many fuel lines have you chopped up on your or a 928 you are responsible for? Right. Thought so. How many time have I done this, and had it work perfectly?................. Exactly!

Your setup is very nice, similar to what Tim Murphy did on his 88. My car is half AN / Metric.
Then you have what Todd does. He slver solders AN nipples on both ends of stock S4 fuel rails. I'm probably going to copy his seutp eventually.

Back to , ON TOPIC, and not some complicated fuel line redesign. Anyway, you cant get the AFM to do anything useful. It gets maxed out at near WOT anyway, when the engine is modified sligthly. if you do change it, it just messes up your midrange power fuel mixtures. You can test it as I have on the track at max power, the flap is near 8.4volts fully deflected, where it normally idles around 4.7volts.
A simple fix is what i suggested

Since the 84 L jet has the dual pressure regulators in the rear and single damper in the front....how would I go about installing an adjustable pressure regulator? My best guess is to remove 1 regulator and use the Adjustable unit to fuel both fuel rails.....
Has anyone done this? Does anyone sell a kit?
I know I can adjust the AFM to a certain extent....but wonder if it has enough "range" to work?
