I had to show my wife how to build a snowman... she's never been around enough snow to build one.

I got the best/worst of both this week as I have been in Philadelphia this week for the snow. Now I am headed back to Dallas for the aftermath of that storm.

OK - you Texas guys are acting like wimps when it comes to snow. Here in SE Pennsylvania, we had 40-50 inches in 5 days this week. Just finished digging the last one out yesterday.
Yes, but that's sort of the problem. You had the ability to "dig out". I doubt there are 3 snowplows in the entire state of Texas......

Yes guys, just kidding you, I hope you know. I lived in Charlotte NC for a couple of years and they didn't seem to have any equipment for moving snow there either! They, like Dallas, also get ice much more often than snow

I am VERY glad to have my large JD lawn tractor with a snow blower mounted on the front. I spent about 8-9 hours on it over the past 3 days, doing our driveway and assorted neighbors who don't have equipment, and didn't arrange for a snow plow. Even had to run up and down our street/hill which is ~3/8 mile long to get a path so emergency vehicles could get in. But - our township does have a truck with a snow blade on the front. The pile of snow that they and I made beside our driveway on the cul-de-sac is about 8 feet high and 30-40 feet wide. Also, about 25% of the limbs and some top 20 feet or so are broken off the fifteen 50-60 foot tall white pines bordering our lot. Don't know when that will get cleaned up. THANK goodness none of the 120 foot tall deciduous trees in the woods behind the house decided to become horizontal instead of vertical.

And - yes, your snow WILL be gone in a day (or 2), while ours will be here for a long time. I'm just envious of that fact, I guess!!!

Cheers, and keep up the good work - but please start sending us some warm weather instead of precipitation if you will.

Gary

You could probably charge 50 bucks an hour to rent that thing out around here today

We officially had 12.5" at DFW airport.
Beats the previous record of 12.1" in January 1964.

Snow and 928 don't go well together...
12" of snow in Texas... I'm in Utha this week for skiing and we only had about 7"...
Something wrong somewhere!
...We had a very nice week anyway with 3 days of sunshine and 45 in Salt Lake City.
It's begining to smell spring for me... can't wait to take the 928 out!!!

Unbelievable pics.....I used to enjoy our infrequent snow storms. Maybe not 12.5" though. I cancelled a trip to Philadelphia this week, I got the shakes even thinking about going. We did get a bit of rain earlier this week.
