Lets Try this again: Kart Day SoCal
We all know the drill. The more people we can have solidly sign up to show up - the better the racing and more fun it will be.
I would of course prefer the K1 speed in Carlsbad, as it is my home track, which may give me an advantage, or rather a partial chip away at the weight penalty - but if we can get more people to go to the irvine track, thats fine.
We have even try and sign up for a scheduled GP, with qualifying, and grid placement.

Nice.
I should just set a time like a Sunday morning (they open at 11) in San Diego and just say "See you there if you want to go"
I enjoy myself either way. Racing people you know and like is good - but not a requirement.

Not this Sunday, but maybe soon. Carlsbad is not a problem if I leave LA early enough. Others here: caravan down early, have a nice breakfast down there, beat ourselves up in the karts, ...
Brendan, set a target date and I'll pencil it on the calendar. I'm scheduling eye surgery for sometime in the next few weeks, so we need to do it while I can still see. Or get a ride down there and watch the screaming blurry blobs go past. :0 Who else is in?
Or: C&C in Irvine on a Saturday morning, then the Irvine K1 karts after.

We did Irvine last time, had fun. I have some non-pcar friends that will probably attend whether it's Irvine or Carlsbad... as long as it's not the same day as an F-1 race.

Indeed. No cross pollination accepted with racing on race days.
Anybody else even remotely interested?

I'll go rattle Stevestik's cage.
Maybe Brian Donaldson will respond?
If we go to Carlsbad it might be fun to go to lunch at Claim Jumper again.

Oh, and it was probably my car with the ****ty casting manifold and the breather venting to atmosphere. The manifold is better now, I guess I should do something about the breather. I do run cats.
