As a purchasing manager for the last 10 years or so, its hard to read threads where suppliers take money and apparently calculate that they don't need to resolve issues. They'd last about 90 seconds in the corporate world.

But it is.

Until you've been around here awhile, you have basically zero credibility within the community.

We've seen time-and-again someone show up out of the blue only to criticize a vendor here.

You ain't the first, and you won't be the last.

That's what I think I know about Coreolis. I hope it helps.

In a more useful application of the coreolis effect, for airplanes that use Inertial Navigation Systems(INS), we must take it into effect any time a plane will be traveling at all north and south, which accounts for just about every flight ever made. A flight which took off, traveled, and landed at exactly the same latitude would theoretically not be affected, but it would make flying pretty useless.

Did someone mention something about suspension?

In this thread I was not critizing a vendor, asking for opinion. There's a difference.

Reminds me of the story about the 928 guy who had just finished shopping at the grocery store and came out with both arms loaded with bags of groceries. He found that he could not get to his car keys and did not want to put the grocery bags on his 928, but lady was nearby so he asked her for help. He asked if she would please get his car keys out of his pocket. She reached in and pulled out his keys and a couple of golf tee's that he had in his pocket. The lady said what are these? He said that is what what you put your ***** on when you drive. She said " My goodness, these Porsche 928's just have everything!"

Going to write this one down for future grocery trips.

Having lived in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres the water does swirl in opposite directions when it goes down the drain. It is also why tornados and Cyclones spin in opposite directions as do Hurricanes and Typhoons. High and Low presuure systems rotate in opposite directions. When at the equator the water just gurgles down the drain without spinning.

The strangest thing of all, at least for me and what messed me up for weeks when I moved to NZ was that the sun moved right to left across the sky, not left to right as we experience in North America. Think about it.

EDIT: to get this subject back on topic - I love all of the 928 vendors. Some just a little more than others. They are all intent on providing good value for their products and services. I don't mind an occassional scuff up as it keeps everyone on their toes and enlightened.

Dan, I think after reading that, I'm going to go back to bed, wake up in an hour, and not re-read that post. Too much thinking.

You could just turn 180 degrees and suddenly feel at home.
