Default Wiring harness and pulling motor

Is it easier to take the harness off for the injectors when pulling engine and not pull it with the engine or do as the WSM says and pull it through the firewall?
Any input is helpful.

I just separated the harness and flopped it back onto the winshield. I put the harness under the passenger wiper to hold it in place. Didn't bother pulling it through the firewall and had no troubles pulling the engine. make sure you detach all your ground wires/alternator wires etc.

To get to the throttle body connector, you'll have to take the intake manifold apart. There is a lot more to the engine wiring harness than just the injector section.

I would not pull it through the firewall again. It is a real pain in the a$$ to get it back in. Do as BPG suggests.

Yes after looking at it I removed the injector rails with injectors still clipped in and there are only a few other wires that would be easily hooked up after installation like the mass air sensor. That is my new procedure. I can install all intake tubes and the throttle body as that harness is the front one.
Thanks.
