Clutch Feel
Based on previous posts, I am in agreement that the throw-out bearing is probably beginning to go on my 5-speed - at almost 70K miles I bought figuring I would be changing the clutch in it soon anyway.
What is puzzling me is that the pedal movement itself is not smooth. Given there are hydraulics between the pedal and the clutch arm, am wondering if the lack of smoothness I feel is in the spring on the clutch pedal, or can this unevenness I feel in the pedal be the result of the throw-out bearing and its choppiness is carrying through the arm, slave, master and up into the pedal.
Thanks,
Dave
