True enough, parting it out would be more than $1900...IF you could get the motor running! The one big value thing on that car is the Euro S motor, but if it is not running then it is worth almost nothing.
I wonder how that repaint is? I like the color...you don't see many speed/fly yellow 928's.

Oh, the '84 is a EuroS 4.7! That would indeed be a nice car for $3800... as long as it is not rusting away or needs EVERYTHING replaced. I love the '84-'86 Euro S cars!

Parted it out and made well over $2K for it, w/o selling the motor or trans. Kept some nice goodies for myself too.

I like that '85 but not sure those look like 50k mile seats! Interesting you would throw this one up there, because I was just thinking an '85 Euro S would be the perfect addition to the Morrison collection at some point...of course I need an auto and will need to build more garage space before I buy ANY MORE cars!

I have high hopes of clearing $1k in parts sold off my 84 Euro AT I paid $2750 for, but I haven't quite gotten there yet. I did keep the motor, sold the tranny, sold the hood, hatch, and have a buyer for the doors, but the interior was in mixed condition, nice enough I want to keep it, or not nice enough to sell.
None of those parts jumped off the car in less than a couple hours or so, more if you include talking to twenty potential buyers "about" the parts and what they may or may not fit, then add in the car sitting around a couple years making the condo assoc mad and currently using garage space I want to play in.
OTOH as soon as the chassis is off to the scrap metal guys I expect I will be thinking about parting another one.

Here's an archive of the sale (which included an '80 Auto, totalled by a milk truck). Also sold a bunch on ebay overseas, with a strong Euro$.
Interior was so-so, but the money was in the bits and pieces, and rare Euro stuff.
