Default Great Price on Genuine Bosch ISV

Hey guys,

just wanted to inform those looking for an ISV for an '85 or '86 that I purchased a genuine Bosch with the correct part number, stampings, and Bosch box from a local seller who sells on ebay for $114, which is far less than what even Autozone is charging for theirs (I've read that thread already)...
Best,

-Mark

I wasn't aware that I could post steal-bay links but here it is:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT

The part numbers, stickers, stampings, etc all match my original...

BTW - not affiliated with this seller in anyway...

Thanks.

For Bosch electrical parts I sometimes check here http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php

When you find a Bosch part listing, and click on the Bosch part number, it shows a cross reference for other vehicles on which that same part was supposedly installed. Works on other parts too.

Sometimes the parts are inexpensive. I got a few window switches there, also a CPS for the 944 for about $70 ( its way higher now). My dad buys chevy and jeep parts at rockauto pretty frequently.

is the autozone part a lifetime warranty?

Ebay guy says a year, but doesn't say how you go about getting warranty service.

The part came with an invoice including an address and a phone number for customer service, which are both local to me BTW; the address is valid.

I haven't been able to find the other thread that Ryan had referenced so I'm not sure what the situation was regarding, I.e. Service, part issues, etc however for $114 I'm willing to give him a shot...

Ryan,

Indeed...like the issue with the Autozone ISV you had tried that some here had reservations with (and I understand why), I figured it was worth trying...
