Trying to track down my old 928. Curious if anyone has seen it?
Was looking through some old pictures the other day and ran across, my pics of my old s4. It was my first Porsche and it was great to drive. I ended up wrecking it in the winter (dumb kid mistake) and it was sold a couple years later.
Would love to know what happened with it. I hope it was repaired and put back on the road it was certainly unique. Well any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
My Original post about it when I was trying to fix it.

VIN is a good place to start from, run a carfax and autocheck, google with it, etc.
Gotta say, do it and find out its gone, and the feeling really sucks.

Man you put the hurt on that car in a big way! OUCH! Glad you didn't suffer permanent damage. 928's are TOUGH and built to protect the occupant... It sure would be a nice car to see fixed and back on the road, but I am thinking...NO

That's an interesting conversion - who did it? It gives the 928 the most 911ish look that I've ever seen.
But that rear wing... try to show that to a German TÜV vehicle inspector. I think he'd get a heart attack. LOL! There is no way you'd ever get that legalized in Germany - at least not in the old days. Maybe the EU has loosened things a bit in the meantime.
Anyway, do you still have the VIN? Feel free to post it here - it might help others to help you find it.

BUT I doubt it's there and as others have mentioned, you would need the vin or start with all S4s, no thanks. From the way the first thread started . . . probably doesn't have it.

*= what i can't remember off the top of my head.
It was made entirely out of stainless steel, no bondo or fiberglass work here. Someone put in some serious work on her. I didn't keep the vin number unfortunately. I'm just going to have to hope someone recognizes it.

I remember the car being discussed on this message board before when it came up for sale back then. So maybe if you can find that thread, you can see if someone said they bought it or not...

I remember this car too. If I'm not mistaken, you posted the car for sale years ago on here. It's one of the nicer widebody conversions that's for sure.

Yea, I thought It was sold to a guy on here. I searched my old posts but didn't find anything. I want to say the guy was from new york or somewhere up in that area.

Race Car
Doc Mohr had it or one like it from what I remember and I am not sure what happened to it following his death. That will get you to 3 years ago. That was in PA. I remember the all metal construction and the different rear wing. You may want to do a search and contact the individuals that managed the liquidation of his shop. They may be able to help.
You may wanna check this thread. https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...light=Doc+Mohr
I believe that the car may have gone with Tarek to FL. He is a big, no pun intended, wide body fan.
