Oil in cylinders 1 & 8 Drenched Plugs
i bought a 82 canada car im new to porsche ownership ive only had the car about a month havent done anything to except correct fuses so today i decide to give a small tune up spark plugs, oil, filter any how i pull plug one and it was covered in oil like i had dipped it in oil left it open i changed other plugs got to number eight and its the same story both front cylinders are full of oil what caused this? is there any way to fix this without a rebuild? i could be wrong on cylinder numbers but it both front cylinders when i test drove it sent me back back into the seat and it sounded the just a lil better then than it does now so i definatly cant wait to feel this thing full power

is the oil on the outside of the plugs or on the electrodes?
A compression test will give you more info about whats going on here
The brake switches are screwed onto your master cylinder yes there are 2 of them first remove the connectors and inspect for corrosion
They are replaced in pairs

Sounds like the cam cover spark plug well seals need to be replaced. Check the wells periodically for large amounts of oil that may cause a miss in the ignition system...I dealt with this issue this passed summer with my '85.

I bought a '82 Canada car. I'm new to Porsche ownership and I've only had the car about a month. I haven't done anything to it except correct fuses.
Today I decided to give it a small tune up consisting of spark plugs, oil and filter. I pulled plug one and it was covered in oil, like I had dipped it in oil. I changed the other plugs and got to number eight and it's the same story. Both front cylinders are full of oil. What caused this?
Is there any way to fix this without a rebuild? I could be wrong on the cylinder numbers. When I test drove it, it sent me back into the seat and it sounded better than it does now. I definitely can't wait to feel this thing at full power

ok so i just ran a compression check and the whole right side (passenger) is reading 90 lbs left side is reading about 150 lbs when i pulled the plugs today they didnt look covered in oil like previously but i had not really driven it since new plugs were installed due to tail light issues (on a side note dont always trust fuse charts you find online had a stop light fuse in the wrong place) then the right rear tail light died after i got brake lights but a lil messin with lamp controller cured that for the time being so back to my original problem how is a timing and timing belt job on this vehicle?
