Default 928 Rims Price?

We put the car together today and "STRUNG" the alignment like we do with the racecar. Center Line of Rear Axle to Centerline of Front Axle are BOTH 98.25"
Vertical From true Plate to Center line are BOTH 11.75.
Now the question.
We have THREE of these rims with (4) tires (1) new other 3 are used. Want to sell these and use the FLAT FACED we have from the donor car and just put (4) new Michlin Tires on and get this puppy on the road.
What are these rims REALY worth? Seen them LOW at $450.00 each and High at $750.00 each.

Depends if they are real Porsche rims or replicas. They should have a Porsche part number on them, and usually the rim width below the valve stem, which I don't see. If they are replicas like Millies, they aren't worth all that much. The Millies are not all that well respected and are not allowed at some DE's.

Real Porsches in 17 depending on widths you have, maybe 300 or 400 for the set of 3.

they are not Porsche wheels .
With all of 3 and there might be different sizes ( widths)
I would sell off the fronts for 250.00 set OBO, and keep the other rear wheel for a garden hose holder in your back yard

Think I have been this way before these are CUP 2 Rims and can not be bought from what I remember.
I need to look on the "BACK" or by the Valve to find a Part #?

For comparison's sake here's a set of 4 17x7.5s with tires for $299 a little scratched.

Thanks so these are just aftermarkets that the PO liked the look of.
OK, then we will refinish the donor wheels from the 1984 which ar stock and put on the Michlin Tires.
I can then just take these and see if I can swap them for some used Phone dials.
With the Phone Dial I am correct that the 944 will fit these cars OR does it have to be the 951 rims?

Honestly, unless you have someone to refinish wheels cheap, you could just find a set of 17" off ebay for cheap. Nice used sets come up with tires all the time for $500-$700. I got some factory 17" 996 Carrera 4 wheels with new Michelins for $650 shipped. The wheels I had before my current set.

Like Mmerlin mentioned sell your fronts, for whatever you can get, Use the extra rear for a trick hose reel.
Pick up another set for cheap.

That's a great idea. Now I know what to do with my extra Cup II wheels.

I just put a set of Cup 2's - and new tires on the 85 Euro. 7.5" fronts - 9" rears.
I have a rough set of phone dials you can have if you want them. Check around on the shipping cost, they are in the 34266 area code.
I also have a new 9" Cup 2 that I use for a hose reel if you need it.

Hi George: I would be interested in the three wheels, but I am not sure which three you have. Others have suggested that you have two fronts and one rear, but I don't see the basis for that assumption. Are they correct? Will you send me the off sets for these when you let me know what you have in widths. Jerry Feather

Jerry email me at LRPWEB@bellsouth.net
I have one off the LR and a Pair of Fronts. NOW are they different width, good question since a FAST look by my helper told me that ALL the tires wher the SAME SIZE so unless he is wrong OR they put the SAME WIDTH tires on all 4 corners.
