Yeah, I think you might be right. I have Euro S motors worth of parts for a hybrid project and I've never been 100% on which 5.0L short block I need to start with.

I know where you can find a nearly complete 85 engine with wiring harness, brains, etc.. If that's what you wanted.. Comes from a car that was daily driven until it was hit in the rear while parked in front of a house...

Best shipping cost I found for truck freight on a long block from NorCal to SoCal was about $300, but damage done was another $200 or more, and no way I found to collect any on the damages. Shipper points at the hauler, hauler says shipper didn't strap it down right. Most people I know who have shipped a block would not like to repeat it.
