You're right. It seems I remembered wrongly that RHD cars got bag dash in '93 MY and standard drivers bag already in middle of '91 MY. Also LHD seem to have been available without passenger side bag as option M564 but almost all markets had both bags as standard. This is '95 MY GTS in Australia.

MUCH BETTER! .. and yes only a drivers side airbag. (Ignore the grey wheel, it was a loaner while the original wheel was being refurbished).
