San Diego GTG at RB Winery.....
Anyone up for a redo of the GTG at Bernardo Winery here in Poway for 928 owners. We always had a good turnout, and the owners of the winery who are good frirends of mine ( I restored most of their wine carts and trailers onsite) gave us prime parking, a show area, etc.
All who attended drive 928's, but in the interest of the marque I would like to open this up to any Porsche What do you guys think? Show space, swap meet, wine tasking, socialiizing, etc.....
Anyone want to helk promote?.

Got a target date in mind? Sooner is better!
Hint: It's really OK to do this more than once a year. Really!
Last San Bernardo Winery event I went to was right after the last big fire there, passed burned-out houses and chatted with locals who had barely escaped. Things have improved by now I'm sure. Great bunch of people at the event, and while it was billed as a primarily 928 event, there were other Porsche models in the display mix. As far as I'm concerned, the cars are just a convenient excuse to get together for a chat and a little wine tasting. But that's just me...

Amy & I just might make this one. I've got a couple of non-pcar friends, car nuts nonetheless, that would be interested as well. First one was a lot of fun!

Great bill, and everyone else - working with winery to get a firm date - April 10 or 11 looks likely right now.
RV, you going to be in town?

As Dr. Bob noted, gtg's don't need to be annual. I put together a New Year's day drive out in East County/Palomar-we had close to 30 cars of all Porsche variety with a couple of other badges thrown in for good measure.

I should have at least 1 functional car by 4/10 or 4/11.

Let's set a target date for a Saturday or Sunday in the next few weeks. Next weekend forecast is probably for rain, which makes it a perfect day to plan for. Since it won't rain. How much notice does the winery need?
