Yes, but don't forget the fittings at the ends. Roger sells a kit that includes the end fittings, and a nice instruction manual that will cover all the fuel lines in the engine bay.

So, are you advocating operating a car for 10 years between TB changes?

I saw a 928 with a +20 year old belt that was ready to crumble.

WOW. This is right up there with the 300 mile GT.

Please take many pics of interior, engine bay, underneath, and exterior, I mean many pics and post them when you can.

You have an amazing car now, Z. I really like the red piping on the sport seats. That looks like the dream car lot.

Great Post. Thanks.

+1, I wish I could be there for the TB/WP job- at the risk of sounding like a concours/restoration nutjob, I'd be photographing every nut, bolt, hose, clamp, and part that came off the car. I'd also be fascinated to see all the factory decals and warning stickers on a RHD ROW car, there must be some interesting ones.

Truly unmolested original cars like this are the equivalent of an archaeological find- it could be used to help write the book on what's 'correct' for the day that someone actually judges a 928 with a critical eye towards originality.

Yes, check the timing belt.

What was going through my head: I'm more concerned about is who changes it and how they do it. Don't want to end-up worse off.

This thing looks like it was in a time capsule. Unbelievable.

OMG what a beautiful car! Congrats on a very nice example and color combo with rediculously low miles.

Personally I wouldn't jump the gun on the fuel lines unless they look bad. Heat is a big killer of rubber and if the mileage is accurate (judging by its incredible condition it is!) you're fuel lines should be fine.

Same applies for other rubber in and around the engine bay.

Focus on the timing belt, tires, clamp and fluids.

+1 Million on this. Unmolested examples are hard to come by and we need them to help set a baseline for what the cars should look like.

Wow!!!! Awesome car! Love the piping! What are your plans for the car? You plan on driving or keeping as is? What were the color combos of the other 928s? Any pics of them?

Congrats!

Thanks everyone

Chuck Z,

I'll try to get some pictures tomorrow at the car depo as i'll be seeing my car again( management haven't give the green light to release the car from depo-Process etc). The other GTS colors are Purple, Coral Red & Black-Looks new but they wouldn't start or would shut off after one minute start.

At the moment, since there's no radio in it- Planning to fit in a new headunit with USB capability. I think I'll use the car & not keeping it at low miles.

Thanks- I hope to get the car soon from the depo & will bring to a specialist for a mechanical check & will ask them to check timing belt too

Most of the cars were stored in a air conditioned room most of its life as said by them.

tv,
I'll try to takes more pics tomorrow.

Rest Of World got GTS's in 1992. Not till '93 in the U.S., except for James' '92 that he had imported and federalized.

When I first saw the pics I thought NO WAY so low miles with the wear on that outside seat bolster, but driving it "around the block" a few times a week would TOTALLY explain that! Everything else sure looks new.

Ed, all other parts of the world EXCEPT North America got the GTS as a '92 model year... Note I am the only person crazy enough to bother importing one to the US... I sure wouldn't want to do it with today's exchange rates! YOWZA!

Also the first GTS I have seen w/ the airbag delete!

Very cool! Enjoy it in good health!

Stunning Car!!! Are you sure it's not part of the Sultan's cars? the guy has a mad stash of 928s just like the Saudis... most of them stored with 100s of cars in warehouses barely ever ever ever driven.

As i said before the 928s for RoW through 95 still had non airbags for many of the countries as i have seen.

P.S. Did anyone notice that this is a sunroof delete car? :-D
