IB Kevin and I have been discussing the possibility of a Summer-style BBQ sometime in the near future. Any other San Diego locals interested? We'll take pic's and send them to Al Gore...

I used to put up posts like this when I was living in SoCal. I knew one day I would get retribution for my comments.

At least I can still stare at the 928 in the garage all clean and shiny and ready for spring to arrive.

Seems there's no heat east of the Rockies lately!

Actually, a little rain would be nice. Don't want to have to water the yard again any time soon. I actually had to mow the lawn last weekend!

No need to cut the grass here but I did have to shovel the driveway again...

Afshin,
You are still putting up posts like that....some of us less fortunates have to drive our cars....ice, sleet, snow.... and not have it sitting as a garage queen, but out in the elements as a real Road Warrior

Happy New Year to you and the family!

Yeah, OK you guys. Have your little chuckle. I'm in Michigan and its 20 degrees and falling, snow is forecast and I couldn't drive my 928 if I wanted to (which I do). I will not feel natural sun warmth for 3 months and the only sand I'll see might be that which is thrown on ice to keep from slipping.

However............ I do not have to worry about earthquakes, forest fires, famine and water shortages. I also do not concern myself (much) with the leftists who dictate virtually everything YOU can not do and allows them the freedom to anything they want under the auspices of being PC. And then the is the Guvernator............ of the great state of Kalifornia.

Guys, you can keep your warm, sunny, 77 degree days and I'll stay where I'm at, spending (but not wasting) countless hours on RL watching and reading Porsche ****. Just like you!

I don't mow my lawn. I have a robotic lawnmower that does it for me. More time to enjoy the 928 I figure.

Sorry Jerome! You should have seen me when I was living in SoCal.

I will say however that your 928 is one of the nicest I've seen and your polishing and cleaning skills keep it that way regardless how much its driven.

Thank you for the wishes. I hope you and your family have a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous 2010!

.. Did somebody mention Winter?? Working on the first sun burn of the season here.

I think it's barely cold enough to keep the man-made snow on the slopes.

Speaking of quakes...just had one a few minutes ago (on the peninsula). Real gentle, didn't last too long, about 5 sec.
