It does look like a fairly thorough federalization though..many don't add the seatbelt warning light and the parking brake light (in place of the "!"...that's an odd one)...

Does the "!" light up when the parking brake is yanked on the US 928's? or does it just light up the parking brake light?

Ok..maybe I should be esplaining a bit... I give Ken crap for modding the early "Low power" 32 valve motors because I and many many others want him to abandon further development of that car/engine and move on up to developing goodies for the S4 and GT 32 valvers... Is that clear enough LOL

All in good fun and yes the early 32 valvers are great engines that respond very nicely to some simple mods..

I suppose I could suffer with a S2 like that. Florida is a bit of a drive, though.

I think Tom has some seats like that in his Canadian GT.

I'm trying to find more info on the car in this book which I received today, but it's in Dutch or something. (Schönen Dank, Karsten! )

LOL

Ken´s next job is examine the abilities of the euro s engine!;-)This engine has the best sound of all 928 and the same code in the chips as the S3.

Bitte sehr!Es war mir eine Freude!

Ken,this awful language in the book is german.Maybe it´s a nice picturebook? ;-)

I think the technical sheets are better in the austenbook. The book from Long has very interesting pictures but is shorter on technical details.

All my grandparents spoke low german. I didn't realize it was still spoken in Germany at all.

On a side note, it's cool to see the early panels with later seats...old style auto shifter handle and although it's an early 86...I believe all Euro 86ers had S4 suspension and brakes.
Like I need an extra project... besides the US '86.5 would blow the doors off that one so whats the point in having a gray market car? Nice sport seats though.

cuase its not the case

even though this euro is not as nice as some that have been bought and posted lately it is super rare - only 42 (1986) euro's imported to North America and not all were 16 V.

Did anyone find out if it is 32v or 16v?
