Default 50th Jubilee 928

Is this car Gray Market. I do not see the red reflector on the back?

Prolly. Federalization over the years has taken many forms. It depends on when it was brought over from Germany. Once it has a ownership cert from any state there is usually no issues getting it registered. Although CA is sometimes difficult, I was able to get a Matra registered there and it has NO federalization standards at all(plastic bumpers, no door beams, Euro headlights, non-DOT glass, etc).

<edit: I see pics of all the VIN numbers, but not the engine code. I would insure it had the right engine code before writing the check.>

VIN is messed up VIN: WPOZZZ92ZCS840136
Records: 7 records found in the CARFAX Vehicle History database

The letter O isn't used in a vin, but the import tag on this one has wpo not wp0, and that is how the carfax reports it, but could be screwed up records both ways. My 84 Euro was that way with two titles, one with an 8 and one with a B.

VIN says Euro S, but motor doesn't look right to me (I get that wrong a LOT). Rear bumper cover may have been replaced.

Been watching this one and wondered when it would pop up on Rennlist.
No rear fog light is interesting but a small issue.
Looks like a very nice Jubilee - shame it's a 5 speed.
No sunroof makes it even more interesting.
Nice car and about to make a good price.

Checked autocheck and carfax and both have records with the vin as a 0 and as an o, autocheck the records are different, no idea on the carfax which reports 7 either way.

I forget the tips to ID, one has the WUR straight, one has the WUR 45 degrees, 84+ has casting numbers you can see on one side or the other of the front runners, but I don't recall about the early S.

This one has the metal PS reservoir, and didn't that stop a few years earlier?

Despite the intake tubes, etc I would have to actually see the code on the engine and heads before paying. Maybe I'll throw a bid at it since it's a FIVE SPEED.

Sharp looking Shark, looks like someone did some photo touch-up on the rear interior shot (rear seat top).
Hey what year did the dual distributors start?

Thanks!

I would bet it has the 4.7L euro motor. The intake is 100% euro S and the side markers are 100% euro. The car prob got hit and the rear bumper was changed out. I would have the owner take a pic of the engine code b4 I bid IMHO. Nice to see a euro going for some good coin.....makes me feel better about the value of my car!

It clearly is a Jubilee model.

140 were made, with VIN in the WP0ZZZ92ZCS840060 to WP0ZZZ92ZCS840199range certainly. In fact, I know 0060, 0085, 0136, 0167, 0183, 0184 and 0193.

Nice registration by the way.

I wonder who got it?

Can't say I like this private bidding thing, this one looks weird too, walking the bid up to the reserve or ?
