5 cars, 8 owners. Relocated to the bar. The black GT was MBMB and we finally tracked him down.

The first Houston gathering in many years was a big success. Thanks to Calgary Ole for getting the ball rolling on this. After the late arrivals (Herman and WildBill) we had 6 cars and 9 owners.

Good time, cool cars, great people... Thanks Ole and Don! I look forward to the next GTG and/or wrenching session.

Wouldn't you know it, after bragging on the reliability of my car the headlights went nuts. Right headlight does not fully pop up and the relay clicks non stop... After several attempts to fix it, manipulating by hand, turning on and off, they stuck pointing skyward. I ended up driving home with the driving lights only for fear of burning something up.

Time to exercise the search function as see what I'm up against.

ATB,

Bill

YEA! Way to go guys! Glad I could help get one more of your boys there! Sounds like it was a GREAT success!

Sorry to hear about your lights Bill! That SUCKS! One of the buckets may be loose or broken. Your description sounds like one light went fully forward and one did not. That should not happen (captain obvious here!) and would indicate that the connection of the bucket to the end of the bar that raises the lights is having a problem.

Get another good gathering like that together and I might have to grab a few of the Austin group and head your direction. Do something out Katy way and it will be almost half way between us! LOL!

This Spring we should have at least TWO more sharks and probably three in the Austin area that are good to go and will be in need of some leg stretching trips!

Thanks guys. On a scale of 1 to 10 it was a 10.
Special thanks to Don and Herman for working on this GTG.

I have some pictures that I will post in a few days when I am back home.

Hey Wid Bill sorry to hear about your headlight problems, just thinking it might related to your cargo light not working as you expected. Your car was exceptional in my opinion.

I'm taking it to Sean R. in the DFW area in a few weeks so I can actually drive it by 2012!
