Default Antenna Choices

so my car had that great cell phone antenna on the rear hatch, i removed it and am looking at replacing it with a better antenna. any ideas? when i get the body work done, im thinking of ditching the driverside antenna and sticking with the top mounted one. have any of you guys with Sat Radio got any antenna ideas?

thanks for any info guys

I've got the shark fin, and it looks good but doesn't work as well as the original in-glass antenna did. I installed mine on the hatch, btw, rather than the roof, reasoning that the hatch is replaceable, and to my eyes it looks better there. YMMV of course. Here's a pic:

That fin is neat where can you get one? Is this a Crutchfield type item?
I have a normal type on the Roof of the new car and and a fender mount on the Blue and Gold cars.

George, I got this through eBay from www.notsomad.com which is no longer a valid URL, so I guess those guys are gone. I took a look at ebay but didn't see anything like it. Maybe google "shark fin roof antenna" and see what you find? Good luck, and Merry Xmas!

IIRC they had one that would, and I saw a bunch on the 'bay today specifically for sat but not with that appearance.
