I'm helping a friend who has recently gone blind sell his 1987 S4 and thought I'd post it here before it goes to the car and auction sites.

The car has been his daily driver for 5+ years and is a good car overall. Recent maintenance includes brakes, wiring harnesses, WP\TB and the car runs very well.

Maintenance needs are AC and power steering pump.

Has RMB, Strosek Wheels otherwise fully stock.

Interior and paint rate good which I would say are a 6 or 7 on a 10 scale. There is a small dent on the roof where a lift came down on the car while it was in the shop for the wiring harness.

118,xxx on the clock however the odo gear gave out about a year ago. He purchased the parts but did not get around to fixing it. I know what mileage was when he bought the car (because I found the car for him when he purchased it) and will validate what is on the clock is within 3k of being accurate.
Although the car has Louisiana tags, it WAS NOT there during Hurricane Katrina and was registered in Tennessee where he lived at the time..

Abby, what a terrible reason to have to sell...sorry to hear it.

That said, he probly still can drive better than most people out here...

No indeed, Kevin. That S4 is an 89 and a multi-Concours winner. He still has those wheels and needs to sell them if you know anyone.

So sorry to hear of your friends loss of sight... I had a vision problem a couple of years ago that caught my attention, but I got better thankfully, I can not even imagine how he feels!

BTW, the car looks AWESOME in the pics and I really dig your new avatar there Abby! NICE!
