Not bad......24th out of over 1000 cars that competed in 2009......and only for 1 race....hopefully we will place much higher next year with 4 races on the schedule!! Finishing a race might help too....

 

I really like the Speed Racer Saturn and the Daytona BMW E24. Maybe the Shark could use some teeth?

 

We are still discussing future "theme" items.....a flat gray paint job that is white on the bottom with a dorsal fin on the roof has been discussed...I like the spear gun idea, or even the yellow float tanks hanging off the back.....

Our priority right now is to fix the engine.....once its running again we can work on the theme....

 

I like the direction you are thinking. Good luck on the fix engine part.

 

Please no shark themes, that has to be the Most overdone them in lemons history

 

With the 'Estate' roofline you could paint it lime green, do some contact paper 'wood' paneling on the sides and have the wagon from National Lampoon's 'Vacation'. Unless it's already been done for a LeMons....

Its been done almost as much as the shark theme....last one even had aunt edna on the roof!!!!

How about a Greman U-boat theme? The open head lights could be for launching torpedoes. Maybe have one sticking out. The sun roof could be the hatch or have a periscope sticking out of it. And a big *** propeller in the back.
You get the idea.

 

I like this idea..... U571 or something...we could dress like the crew from the movie? just as long as I get to be the U boat commander!!

I would guess we will stay with the "members only" theme for the next race....then assuming the estate survives with minimal repairs needed, we can focus more effort on theme for the May thunderhill race!

Was just trying to explain the members only jacket thing to my two girls, 11 & 12, the other day, what a members only jacket was and all that went with it. Didin't work. One of those, you had to be there type things.
