Just wondering what kind of power the old 3 speed auto transmissions can handle? I'm thinking of a renagade conversion with a frankenstien twist. Can the autos trasmissions be beefed up at all, i'm looking at well over 500 ft pounds of torque but I figure the wheels will spin before the trans will puke. anyone with any experiances on this path ?
