Probably only $20,000 away from being $10,000 worth of 928s.....sad but true !

Would the 79 car be a good parts car for the 86? Probably not, the more I think about it. Intriguing. I'm looking for something like this, I just don't have the tools or experience to do much bodywork.

32v ha! I bet the engine is completely trashed. Looks like paint is trashed too, and let's guess about the interiors. Why was this cheap again?

I called the owner and he said the bodies and interiors were pretty clean (?). The 79 is a running car which can be driven away and the 86 is "probably not". He says someone began taking the intake manifold off and never finished, so he's not sure if it will run or not. The owner is a mechanic and they are at his shop in Rocky Point. Not good for me, but maybe for someone else...
