A local guy repainted his '85 S yellow, the single stage glasurit (before you couldn't get that paint any more) and it really looked great. I saw it at Tass's in '08.
If anyone has a name or address for the Yellow GTS in Houston, I'd be happy to try to get some shots of it. There's probably a law enforcement search engine where you can put in color and make/model and find the registration but don't know if something like that is available to the public.
I would LOVE to see some more pics of that car. It had black interior with yellow pipping on the seats and the root wood full interior treatment! The car was QUITE IMPRESSIVE!!! There are more than a couple of us on this forum that keep watching for this car to surface again! If you are ever down at any (all) of the Pcar dealerships in H-town ask about it...I think the car was purchased locally and has spent its whole life down there. Last I saw it was 2000 or so and it had like 15k miles on it then!
do you have the contact for the yellow GTS in Qatar? i might just see if it can be saved. I am sure it is sitting under sand sun and no fun right now... i can probably get it to Saudi and see how we can deal with the underside.
Mmmmmmm maybe. Personnally, being biased, it works for me in white. Check out what I believe is my car on P110 of Brian Long book. I have emailed him a pic of my interior, and he agrees it probably is my car, despite having no VIn with the original picture.
