Awesome car! Just keep the interior out of the sun, as the burgundy fades quickly.

BEAUTIFUL car! I thought it was brown and brown not Garnet and Burgundy. I look forward to some more pics in the light when we are REALLY see it shine. Not sure I have seen a cleaner example. Oh, wait, my buddy here in town has an '86.5 with under 25k miles on it...pretty clean car too!

I bet you paid MUCH less than he did though and your car looks spectacular in the pics! Always nice to be the second owner on a 928!

Congrats and welcome to the club!

Nice car. Your camera really bring out the brown side of the Garnet red. My camera shows the other side of the scale, far too much red. If you look at it live i think it is right in between our pics.

Very nice 86.5, looking forward to seeing it in person. In the mean time take a look at what is available to make the '85 '86 perform beyond factory specs.

Well done, same color combo as my old UK 86S2 which I liked.

That car was really maintained cosmetically, and I'm sure it was mechanically since it's a 1-owner.

Very nice find.

Will you keep in in a garage? I notice the dash isn't cracked, so the PO probably garage kept it.

Yes, it is garaged. The PO kept it covered in the garage.

Yeah, when I first saw the PO's pics I thought it might be brown. But, it is definitely Garnet Red! I thought it might be too much red with the burgundy interior but, I really like it.

There are very few seats of that era in such good shape. Especially for the mileage.
Really nice.
