My new car
I flew down to Burbank last Saturday to inspect the car and I ended up buying it. It's an 86.5 with a 5-speed. I purchased it from the original owner. It was a sad day for him.
I drove it home to the North Bay the same day. It performed flawlessly; rides nice, shifts well, tracks pretty well. A very nice drive and man is it comfortable. I am really looking forward to many miles of pleasure this beauty will give me.
Here are a few pics:

Car looks great! Appears to have been a good buy. What color is it? And what color is the interior?

That's a beauty! Engine pics?
What's up with the exhaust?
It's a good time to own a S3!

Looks very nice. I don't see any smog history for 21SMOSO, was it parked a very long time, pre 1998?
Help keep us market aware, whats the price of a nice 86.5 these days?

Nice car, I hope that you can get the little things fixed and use it,
A set of Porkens chips will give it the punch, plus a Motorsport X pipe, fitting a correct rear muffler will quiet things down some but you will also enjoy long roadtrips without the drone of a louder exhaust
