C'mon Jim. You are not allowed to close a thread just as your most embarrassing moment is about to be revealed. We insist upon knowing the origin of the errant valve cover and "the rest of the story".

If this is viewed as my most embarrasing moment, I suppose we should hook up more and tell bigger fish stories.
With regards to the single valve cover, it was drop shipped to me by a fellow Rennlister following his EBay purchase. It was sent to harvest the vent elbows to add additional breathers off the driver's side valve cover. Unfortunately, I never saw his e-mail letting me know of the shipment... likely my bad
