Sorry if people get sick of me saying it, but that site, the bit torrent, and cds sold on Amazon and ebay are copies made from the Jim Morehouse CDs, which a lot of effort by many people went into, but especially Jim who collected all the materials, scanned them, and then went through the very time consuming process of optical character recognition to convert all the images into text that can be searched and indexed.

Certainly don't pay anyone else for copies of his work.

If you are ok with stealing it, go about your business and download etc.

If you have a conscience, morals or ethics, buy the CDs from the person who did the work. <jim928@ptd.net>

How about the people who bought the Factory Workshop binders that are now not as valuable because most people will go for a cheaper CD version?

The Ebay CD I originally bought before I got my 928 is not a copy of the scans Jim Morehouse made (I have both) - instead it just had a single huge PDF file (450megs). There are more than one PDF'ed set of scans of the workshop manuals floating about in cyberspace.

That Cannell site does appear to be the same as Jim's - filesizes match up.

I have paper and CD but still cannot find an 84 L-jet wiring diagram to show the connections for the L-jet computer and associated wiring to the CE panel.

AMAZING! RIDICULOUS!

The real work was in making the manuals in the first place.

Please do not say that, I just bought a 1984 AND set of printed manuals. I got the one from Amazon but sent it back when I heard where it came from.
If anyone finds that diagram PLEASE post where you got it.
Anybody need some Testarossa manuals? One is parts and the other is basic for a 1988. Talk about getting HOSED for real paper!!

What you need is the plethora of practical documents and white papers that have been saved on the CD's along with the WSM's. Get them from Rog100 . Trust me, critical information.

I had my 928 for 10 years and I started with microfiche and a reader as unable to obtain hardcopy WSM's at that time. Quality was awful, by got by, so no need to feel sorry about us old owners.

Graduated to Jim's technical CD and contributed some items. Excellent and invaluable source of information.

I agree that we should support the work Jim did and ignore the copies out of the UK.

Originally the WSM were only available in USA and were expensive.

When I travel I have WSM-CD in car with some relevant hard copy items pertaining to my MY car, especially the wiring diagrams and the electrical write up by Alan, our resident electrial expert.

When I do work, I do my research and then copy the relevant pages and information for on the job reference and buy the necessary tools as required.

Where do you get Jim's cd from, sorry if this has already been answered. I have a couple of cd copies and they seem to be short some semi valuable information. Thanks
