I thought that the Audi/VW 1.8T of that era was 180 hp (at the crank) stock. 180 hp from a turbocharged 1.8L four-cyl engine is pretty normal. The Autothority chipset was supposed to get it up toward 210 or 220 hp by doubling up max boost.

He said that the '01 and '02 were 20hp less than the later 1.8Ts. With the chip it brough it up to what the '02-ups were in stock configuration. He never dynoed it so no real way of knowing if the chip only added 20hp.

3 weeks ago when one fo the shifter cable broke, he sold it to me for $800.
