That's the FR500 intake manifold. All the components:

When the short runners are on, the butterflies open and expose a single plenum. When the long-runners are off, the air has to go to the bottom plenum and then run thru the long curled runners. I think Ford fitted it in a focus as a publicity stunt, so one _CAN_ design a good intake manifold that fits under the hood, no matter how unsuccessful the Porsche effort with 928 S3-S4-GT-GTS.

The 5.0 Cammer has another pretty nice intake manifold:
